A quick little giveaway! I’m creating a new product and I need to make a prototype for photographing. It’s a personalised product – so I’m going to be a little bit fussy, sorry! Entries are open only to those with a child whose name is 5 letters or less! I know, I’m horrible, but I’m the one who has to make it. AND I’m not going to tell you what it is either.
So, to enter, please leave a comment telling me: 1. Your child’s name and 2. The colour of their room. Entries will close 8pm Sunday, Brisbane time.
Easy! If you aren’t a mummy, or your child’s name is too long you can enter your friend’s child, your niece or nephew…this would make a fantastic gift.

Sorry, that’s really corny isn’t it?! I couldn’t resist.
Since visiting Paris, Miss TikiBoo is completely facinated with the Eiffel Tower. I was looking through my stash the other day and pulled out this fabulous pink fabric – immediately pounced apon by small child. Mummy! It’s the Eiffel Tower! I was suiable inspired to whip out the scissors and create something, here’s the result. Teamed with the ever-so-groovy zebra stripe, these embelished jeans are certainly going to make a statement!
If you haven’t entered the draw to win a chance to have your own child’s jeans revamped, head on over to La Toriana. All you need to do is leave a comment on the blog post. Entries close TOMORROW, so be quick!

We are nearly at the end of our challenge at Aussie Boutique Kids.
It’s finally time to select an overall winner from the top 6 items over the past 3 weeks. It’s been a lot of fun finding these wonderful items and I certainly hope it has put a smile on the faces of some of our wonderfully talented Aussie sewers and crafters out there to receive a tiny bit of recognition for their hard work and efforts.
Best of luck ladies!
Please take a minute to pop over to ABK and place your vote.

I realised this afternoon that I have not yet shared a photograph of our little TikiBoo bird labels. The only people who have seen them have been those who have bought any girl’s clothing from the store in the past two weeks! Isn’t he cute? I’m happy to put him on the boy’s clothes as well, if people would like that, however I’m thinking that might not be a hit! Eventually we will have to find him a name, along with Bethany’s critters, who are all searching for names. We might have a naming competition soon.
Speaking of competitions, we’re holding one on the Aussie Boutique Kids blog, searching for Australian made handmade finds for children, so make sure you have a look and send us some fantastic finds please!
The latest update to the swing tag saga – they want me to return the tags to them, so they can punch the holes. It’s rather a hassle, but I’m a bit fed up with trying to argue with them, so they’re being returned next week. This is what they look like, sans holes of course! I’m sure eventually I’ll have them, complete!
